NOVOTEL PEACE BEIJING OPENS CLUB ELITE EXECUTIVE LOUNGE

The Novotel Peace Beijing has completed the renovation of its executive floors and Club Elite Lounge catering exclusively to its loyal corporate clientele.

The hotels extensive renovation programme began in 1999 with the lobby and public areas, fitness centre and the refurbishment of a Chinese restaurant on the hotels second floor.

Renovations on four executive floors with a total of 67 rooms and suites were completed at the end of May. The Club Elite Lounge on the hotels 19th floor remodelled at a cost of US$42,000 has been created as a sanctuary for travelling executives.

They can enjoy a variety of superb services and benefits, including the added convenience of priority check in/out formalities in the Club Elite Lounge. Daily buffet breakfasts are served between 06:00 to 10:00, and guests can relax with a complimentary drink during happy hour from 17:00 to 20:00. Free coffee and tea are served all day.

Novotel Peace Beijing is located in the heart of Beijing, in the prime commercial and shopping district of Wangfujing Avenue. The hotel is a short 15-minute walk from the Forbidden City and within easy reach of Tiananmen Square and other tourist attractions including museums, monuments and parks.

The property has been one of Beijings best known international standard hotels since it opened in 1952. In the late 1990s the hotel began an aggressive refurbishment plan to upgrade service and facilities, with Accor taking over management in 2000 and rebranding it a Novotel.
