Air Canada
today announced that effective July 9, 2001, it will further expand its
U.S. network by offering customers 12 additional destinations via
Denver, in cooperation with its Star Alliance partner United Airlines.
In addition, Air Canada will also offer codeshare service to five
additional destinations beyond Chicago, in cooperation with its
codeshare partner United Express carrier, Atlantic Coast Airlines. Seats
are now available for sale through travel agents or Air Canada
Reservations.
"We are delighted to offer our customers in Western Canada improved
access to a number of U.S. destinations," said Doug Port, Senior Vice
President, Customer Service. "With the expansion of our U.S. network, we
are now providing codeshare service to 44 points via Denver and to over
50 destinations via Chicago."
Out of Western Canada, Air Canada offers three daily non-stop flights to
Denver and eight daily non-stop flights to Chicago with convenient
connections to the following additional destinations:

Atlantic Coast Airlines, one of the five largest regional airlines in
the
U.S., is part of Star Alliance member United Airlines' extensive U.S.
network.
Aeroplan members thus benefit from accumulation and redemption of
qualifying
Aeroplan miles when travelling on Atlantic Coast Airlines flights in the
same
way they can accumulate and redeem miles on United Airlines flights. |
