Concorde
Hotels & Resorts (CH&R) has appointed an accomplished hotelier and human
resources specialist in the hospitality industry, Mr Kumar Chakrabarty,
as Director of Human Resources.

from professionalism. This can only be possible with continuous
education and good training,” says Mr. Timothy Stableforth, Chairman of
Concorde Hotels & Resorts, “we hope to achieve this with Mr Chakrabarty
on board.”
Mr Chakrabarty has been with Concorde Hotels & Resorts as Group Director
– Human Resources (Malaysia) since 1991. His prime responsibility is to
provide CH&R's General Managers and Department Heads with directions on
designing and implementing innovative training programs for both
management and frontline staff.
Mr Chakrabarty brings with him nearly 25 years of experience and skills
gained from working with Hyatt, Ramada as well as the Malaysian National
Productivity Centre. His expertise is in Food & Beverage, Human
Resources and Property Management.
Kumar, an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel &
Development (U.K.), holds an undergraduate Diploma in Training &
Development as well as a post-graduate Master of Science in Training &
Human Resource Management from Leicester University (U.K.) |
