The Hotel Gran Mahakam, managed by Accor’s premier Sofitel brand, has
been named a winner of the prestigious 2000 Premier Travel Award for
Excellence as the best hotel in Jakarta by leading travel portal

The award allows viewers to select and vote on top hotels in major
tourist destinations around Asia and was conducted during 2000. Over the
course of last year a total of 2,891 respondents participated in the
poll.
Accor Vice President Sales & Marketing, Rob Hornman, said the hotel was
delighted to receive the award as it reflected a high level of
commitment by staff and management.
“The Premier Travel Award is unique because it allows guests the chance
to vote for the hotel they like best, which reflects well on the product
and quality of service offered at the Hotel Gran Mahakam.
