Air-India and
Tata Infotech Limited, one of India's leading IT companies, have signed
a Rs. 9-crore comprehensive IT systems maintenance and Facilities
Management services agreement for Air-India's mission-critical
applications.
The agreement covers both "preventive" and "break-down" maintenance and
Tata Infotech has been made responsible for ensuring system availability
of more than 99.5 per cent on a round-the-clock basis at three locations
at the Old Airport Complex at Kalina, the Air-India Building at Nariman
Point and the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport at Sahar.
The agreement is an affirmation of the long-standing faith and trust
shared between the two companies.
The agreement was signed by Mr Amod Sharma, Company Secretary, Air-India
and Mr Pauroos Karkaria, Sr. Vice President, Tata Infotech Ltd.
