TRUST
International, a member of the Bertelsmann Group and a global provider
of reservations technology for the hospitality industry, today announced
the company has been chosen to provide reservation technology solutions
to Hard Rock Hotels. Among the services TRUST will provide to the hotel
properties in Las Vegas, Orlando, Bali and Pattaya, Thailand, include
full service reservation solutions including GDS and Internet
distribution as well as voice reservations and database management and
reporting.
TRUST will also act on a consultancy basis to guide Hard Rock Hotels in
consolidating all of its reservations under a single DJ chain code in
all major global distribution systems to support additional growth.
Additional hotels under construction include Chicago, Illinois;
Hollywood, Florida and Tampa, Florida. Future locations under
consideration for Hard Rock Hotels include destinations such as New
York, Los Angeles, Miami, San Francisco, New Orleans, Atlantic City,
Puerto Rico and Waikiki.
"The addition of Hard Rock Hotels to TRUST's client portfolio is an
important move for our company into the boutique-range hotel market with
high brand recognition. We are applying our experience in technology
development across multiple hotel markets. More upmarket and niche
hotels are looking to TRUST to collaborate with them on a consultancy
basis to help build and support their technology infrastructure," stated
Connie Rheams, President of TRUST in the Americas.
"Hard Rock Hotels selected TRUST for the global reach of its
distribution network. Our hotels are currently located in Asia and North
America and we are looking at opportunities to expand into Europe. We
will fully utilize the large customer database behind our Hard Rock
Cafes to cross-market our hotel brand. There are distinct marketing
plans in place to integrate the success of one brand into the other.
TRUST's database management and reporting tool, TRUST View, will provide
us with the capability to do so," said Jim Biggar, Senior Director of
Hard Rock Hotels and Resorts.
The contract is effective as of immediately and covers future expansions
of the Hard Rock brand worldwide. |
