Effective June
29, 2001 Air Canada will commence daily non-stop summer service between
London and Calgary. Flights on the new route will be operated with
112-seat A319 aircraft featuring the airline's acclaimed Executive and
Hospitality service. The new service will be offered until October 27,
2001.
"This summer, we are pleased to offer our customers in London the only
daily non-stop service to Calgary," said Danielle Poudrette, Vice
President, Marketing. "Alberta is a popular tourism destination from
southern Ontario; more Ontarians visit Alberta by air annually than any
other province. In addition, the new service will provide convenient
travel to the families and friends of the several hundred athletes from
Northern and Western Canada who will participate in the Canada Summer
Games in London August 11-25, 2001."
AC1035 will leave London at 8 a.m. and arrive in Calgary at 9:50 a.m.
From Calgary, AC1036 will depart at 4 p.m. and will arrive in London at
9:12 p.m. |
