20% commission
for IATA affiliated travel agents worldwide taking bookings for hotels
and resorts in Middle East and Africa
Six Continents Hotels, the world’s most global hotel company, has
aggressively entered the November/December holiday period this year by
doubling commissions paid to travel agents who take bookings for the
group’s 119 Middle East and African hotels and resorts.
The offer of 20% commission applies to bookings by International Air
Transport Association (IATA) affiliated travel agents worldwide, for
stays at any Six Continents Hotels Inter-Continental Hotels and Resorts,
Crowne Plaza Hotels and Resorts or Holiday Inn Hotels and Resorts, in
the Middle East and Africa. The increased commission is payable for
bookings made and used during the three-month period, October 14 to
January 15, 2002. The offer applies to commissionable rates only.
“The new commission structure called, “Twenty Twenty”, is the latest in
many additions and incentives offered during 19 years of industry
service through our Travel Agent Commission Program (TACP) SM”, said
Denis Johnson, Vice President, Sales and Marketing of Six Continents
Hotels, Middle East and Africa.
Commissions paid to eligible travel agents for reservations at more than
3,000 Six Continents Hotels resorts and hotels in over 95 countries are
paid out in the local currency of each country where agents operate, as
a special service. |
