International announced the appointment of Angus Pitkethley as Director
of Sales, Sydney Worldwide Sales Office.
Mr. Pitkethley will be responsible for the Australian Wholesale Market
and Marriott Incentive Awards in the Asia Pacific Region. Marriott
Incentive Awards offers a range of Marriott products that are packaged
and sold as vouchers. The products launched in Asia Pacific include Stay
Awards, Dining Awards and Marriott Cash Cheques.
Mr. Pitkethley has over 10 years of hotel experience. He joined Marriott
International’s London Worldwide Sales Office in 1998 as Agency Sales
Manager, UK/Ireland. He previously worked with Ritz-Carlton Hotels in
Sydney and at the Thistle Tower Hotel in London. In January 2001, he
transferred to Australia to join the company’s Sydney Worldwide Sales
Office.

Mr. Pitkethley holds an Associate Diploma in Hospitality Management from
the William Blue Hotel Management School, Sydney. |
