Fine Cantonese
seafood cuisine is back on the menu at Dragonair, with signature dishes
from Hong Kong’s renowned Super Star Seafood Restaurant set to be
available on selected routes in the autumn.
First and Business Class passengers flying with Dragonair from Hong Kong
to Beijing and Shanghai between September 1 and October 31 will be
invited to select from such mouth-watering dishes as Pancake Parcel
Filled with Mandarin Fish and Egg White, Sautee Kagoshima Steak With
Mushrooms and Steamed Fungus Bamboo Stuffed with Shrimp Paste.
“When we first introduced dishes from Super Star Seafood Restaurant
earlier this year the response from our passengers was extremely
positive, so we’ve decided to do it again,” said Ronnie Choi,
Dragonair’s General Manager, Customer Services.
Over the two-month period a selection of 23 various dishes will be
available.
“We’re delighted to be co-operating with Dragonair in this way again,”
said Chow Kuen Chung, Executive Chef of Super Star Seafood Restaurant.
“Obviously when preparing food for inflight there are logistical issues
that have to be taken into account. But the response from the passengers
has shown that the hard work by our staff and those at Dragonair is
worth the effort.”
Super Star Seafood Restaurant has six restaurants in Hong Kong and one
in Tokyo. It has won numerous awards for its culinary skills.
