SINGAPORE AIRLINES ANNOUNCES NE W BOARD MEMBER

Singapore Airlines (SIA) is pleased to announce that Mr Koh Boon Hwee has been appointed a Board Member of Singapore Airlines.

Mr Koh is currently Chairman of the Internet Technology Group. Prior to his present position, Mr Koh spent 10 years as the Executive Chairman of the Wuthelam Group of Companies. Before that, he spent 14 years working for the computer multinational, Hewlett-Packard. His last positions there were as Managing Director of Hewlett-Packard Singapore and Asia Pacific Director of Manufacturing and Business Development.

Mr Koh is also Chairman of Singapore Telecom, Singapore Post, Omni Industries and the Council of the Nanyang Technological University.

Mr Koh graduated from the Imperial College of Science and Technology, University of London, in 1972 with a Bachelor's Degree (First Class Honors) in Mechanical Engineering and from Harvard Business School in 1976 with a Master of Business Administration (Distinction).
