Haruo Someya named “Director of Sales - 2000”

Anne Jamieson, Director of Sales & Marketing – Radisson Hotels Asia Pacific Division, announced today that Mr. Haruo Someya, Assistant Director of Sales – Radisson Hotel Narita Airport, Japan; has been named “Director of Sales / 2000” for Radisson’s North Asia Region. The award was presented during the company’s Sales & Marketing conference in Sydney, February 25 – 28, 2001.

During 2000 Someya-san led the hotel’s sales team to increased Transient Business Revenues of 13.8% over 1999; increased the Corporate Meeting Market Revenues by 15.5%; and attained a hotel annual occupancy of 94.3% vs. 89.44% the previous year. This was the highest annual occupancy in the hotel’s 22-year history !
