Global upscale
hotel group Le Méridien is offering savings of up to 50% off published
room rates at the majority of its 126 hotels between July 1 - August
31*, 2001, in its ‘Le Passport’ Summer promotion.
Prices quoted – in local currency, as well as approx. US dollars and
Euro – are the offer rates and are for room-only per night (unless
breakfast is specifically stated) for single or double occupancy in a
standard room (unless otherwise stated) and include tax and service, but
not local city tax.
Example prices include Le Méridien Shelbourne in Dublin from IEP 180 /
$212; Le Méridien Beverley Hills in Los Angeles from $225 (deluxe room);
Le Méridien Sydney A$199 / $107; Le Méridien Bora Bora XPF 55,590 /
$439; Le Méridien Nirwana Golf & Spa Resort Bali $152 ; Le Meridien
Sharm el Sheikh $80; Le Méridien Marrakech Dhs.1,600 / $150 (includes
superior room and breakfast); Hotel Eden in Rome L.847,000 / $406
(superior room) and Le Méridien Nice Fr.1,090 / $154.
Le Méridien’s strategic global alliance with Nikko Hotels (signed last
year) means guests can also save up to 50% at 20 Nikko properties
outside Japan – in Europe, the Americas and Asia Pacific.
Additionally, Le Méridien is offering American Express card members a
free upgrade (subject to availability at time of check in) when paying
with the American Express card.

* Le Passport is available until September 15 at 15 participating Le
Méridien hotels in the Middle East.
