Galileo
International, Inc. (NYSE: GLC), a leader in electronic global
distribution services for the travel industry, today announced Stephen
McNally has been appointed director of Sales and Marketing for the Asia
Pacific (AP) region. McNally joined Galileo in 1994 and brings to his
new role a strong customer account management background, including two
years based in Hong Kong managing Galileo’s Asia Pacific airline
supplier customers. He will report to Janie Kaung, vice president,
Subscriber Sales and Service for the AP region.
“Steve is well positioned to drive strategic sales and marketing
initiatives throughout the Asia and Pacific region, focussed on customer
relationships and growth in these important markets,” said Kaung.
“Steve’s background and extensive experience in the region will enable
him to effectively leverage the Galileo brand and the company’s latest
product and service offerings to multinational businesses throughout the
region.”
McNally’s previous roles with Galileo include senior account manager for
various key customers and global account director for the company’s
relationship with American Express. During his two years in Hong Kong as
general manager, Airline Sales and Account Management, he was
responsible for establishing Galileo’s presence in the Asia Pacific
region with airline customers. |
