YEHUDA BRENER JOINS MARRIOTT AS VICE PRESIDENT OF WORDWIDE SALES FOR LATIN AMERICA AND THE CARIBBEAN

Yehuda J. Brener has joined Marriott International, Inc. (NYSE: MAR) as Vice President of Worldwide Sales for Latin America and the Caribbean. Based in Miami, Florida, his responsibilities include overseeing Marriott International’s sales efforts in Latin America and the Caribbean for the company’s lodging brands; and directing the general sales agent network for Latin America and the day-to-day operations in the regional reservation center.

Mr. Brener is a 25-year travel industry veteran and was most recently director of marketing and sales-Latin America for Carnival Cruise Lines in Miami. He began his career with Carnival as an account representative. He has also worked for Monarch Cruise Lines, Paquet Cruises, Inc., Bahamas Cruise Lines, Inc., and Dolphin Cruise Lines, Inc.

Mr. Brener is a member of the Travel Industry Association of America’s Pow Wow Planning Committee and Membership Committee and the Chairman of the Strategic Planning Committee for La Cumbre.

Originally from Rochester, Minnesota, Mr. Brener earned a bachelor of science degree in business administration from the Universidad Santiago de Cali in Colombia. He has a daughter and two grandchildren who live in Israel.
