Le Meridien
Hotels and Resorts have announced that they will cease management of the
Baan Boran Golden Triangle Hotel in Thailand as of December 31, 2001.
Le Meridien Asia Pacific Managing Director, Mr Michael Sagild said:
'"Le Meridien's contract was to conclude mid 2002, however, on mutual
agreement, we will cease the management at the end of 2001. Le Meridien
will continue to explore further opportunities with Moblex, the current
owner in the future."

and will continue to pursue development opportunities to further extend
the brand in Thailand. It's properties include: Le Royal Meridien
Bangkok; Le Meridien President (Bangkok); Le Royal Meridien Baan Taling
Ngam (Koh Samui); Le Royal Meridien Phuket Yacht Club and Le Meridien
Phuket.
