With the significant rise in exhibitor numbers, the increase in countries represented and the positive feedback we have already received, the event was undoubtedly the busiest ever, with new contacts made, business deals conducted and great networking results. “IGTM is the only exhibition globally which provides a serious business platform for golf travel”, commented Jacqueline Campbell, Jebel Ali Hotel & Golf Resort, Dubai. “IGTM has helped our destination gain additional exposure that we would otherwise not have been able to attain without the concentrated markets available from the golf tour operators attending the show”, added Shannon Odom, Charleston Golf Inc, USA

Further positive comments were received after the event “A great show and networking bonanza! It totally exceeded my expectations. Thanks, I can’t wait till next year!”, William Hogan, Wide World of Golf, USA. “This exhibition was very successful for us. It allowed us to show our golf opportunities to the international golf tourism market place”, Marcelo Busellini, Argentina Board of Tourism.

Along with the appointment schedule, a main focus of the event is the Supplier meets Buyer session which provides exhibitors with the opportunity to approach those buyers they had not previously arranged to see. The session at IGTM 2000 was warmly received by all attendees, “I had 5 suppliers in-line waiting to add me to their appointment schedules!” said Stan Morse, Marstan Travel, USA

“We are extremely pleased with the results of this year’s show and thrilled with the positive response we have received from both exhibitors and visitors. All in all, IGTM 2000 was a wonderful success and we very much look forward to welcoming you to IGTM 2001 at Sun City in South Africa”, Mark Walsh, Exhibition Manager.

IGTM 2001 will be held in Sun City, South Africa from 5 – 8 December.
