Regent
International Hotels today announced the appointment of Julie Janckila
as director of partner marketing. Her responsibilities include
developing and implementing partner marketing programs with current and
new partner brands. Janckila will manage existing luxury-level
partnership programs for Regent hotels worldwide with airlines and other
travel industry partners and expand into new partnerships. Additionally,
Janckila will be responsible for managing the consortia marketing
programs for the hotels.
“With the addition of Julie to our team, Regent’s partner marketing
programs will continue to grow in scope and value for our guests,” said
Vicki Sieger, vice president of marketing and sales for Regent
International Hotels. “It is our goal to partner with the best luxury
goods and services providers, creating new value and enhancing the
trademark luxury experience that guests receive at Regent International
Hotels.”
Most recently, Janckila led the Merrill Lynch promotions, events and
partnership team at Carlson Marketing Group as a senior account
executive. This specialized team worked to develop and manage special
promotions, member events and partner relationships for the Merrill
Lynch CMA Visa Signature Rewards program. Janckila's team negotiated and
secured partner relationships with such luxury brands as Tiffany’s,
Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue.
Janckila has also worked for five years as an account executive,
assistant account executive, and marketing coordinator with Carlson
Marketing Group in the partnership marketing department. In 1999, she
was bestowed the Carlson Fellows Team Achievement Award for CCI Team of
the Year, as a part of the Merrill Lynch team. Janckila began her career
with Carlson in 1994 as a customer service representative in the Loyalty
Operations division.
Janckila graduated with honors and distinction from the University of
Minnesota with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business. |
