Hong Kong, May 2000 … Hyatt Hotels and Resorts has launched Great Deal offers at 49 participating hotels worldwide for luxurious accommodations at discounts of up to 50% off the regular room rates. The special Great Deal rates are valid from June 1 to August 31, 2000 and are commissionable at 10% to all bona fide travel agents.

Great Deal rates are available at 33 Hyatt hotels in Asia Pacific as well as selected hotels in Europe (Almaty, Budapest and Paris), Middle East (Amman and Dubai), Africa (Casablanca and Johannesburg), Mexico (Acapulco, Cancun, Mérida and Villahermosa), Latin America (Buenos Aries, Guatemala and Santiago) and North America (Chicago, New York and San Francisco).

Members of Gold Passport, Hyatt’s worldwide frequent guest programme can also combine their Great Deal savings with an opportunity to earn up to 25,000 bonus points for free room nights or airline tickets. Gold Passport members staying at any Hyatt Hotel & Resorts worldwide more than twice during the period June 1 to August 31 this year, can earn 5,000 bonus points or 3,000 bonus miles per eligible stay, from the third stay onwards. As an added bonus, they will be upgraded to Platinum status of the Gold Passport membership.
