In announcing Takiguchi’s promotion, Kelvin Seah, Utell’s senior vice
president of Asia Pacific, said, “Ken’s appointment is the result of his
successes to-date, of having a strong local perspective of the
businesses and opportunities and for achieving a win-win partnership
with our customers in the region. With the acquisition of Utell by
Pegasus Solutions, Ken will, with speed, create a strong leverage for
our customers to embrace Pegasus’ new e-marketing tools and products to
help grow our customers’ market share and to maintain a competitive
technological edge.”
Takiguchi added, “Utell is a well-established name, having been in
existence for over 70 years. Now that Utell is a service of Pegasus
Solutions, we are able to help our customers harness the power of the
Internet to increase their distribution and better manage business by
offering them a wider portfolio of services, including automated
commission processing, Web-based distribution solutions and business
intelligence reports. This will be exciting times for us and I certainly
look forward to the opportunities ahead of us.”
