stage at TIME 2000 with the launch of four new packages by leading
European hotel chain, Sol Meliá.
MELIÁ BALI
Travellers to Bali wishing to experience Bali's unique Hindu culture and
traditions can enjoy Meliá Bali's seven nights/eight days Balinese
Furniture And Craft Experience in an activity filled itinerary.
A step by step adventure into Balinese arts and crafts, participants
will not only get to enjoy a wide range of Indonesian style sensations,
a key feature of the programme is a trip to the Besakih Temple for the
field study of the role of furniture, crafts and architecture and its
importance in binding Balinese history, communities and families
together. Among these include three visits to the various furniture
workshops and art galleries including opportunities to purchase the art
and furniture.
The Meliá Bali Balinese Furniture And Craft Experience is offered at a
rate of US$895.00++ for single occupancy, and US$925.00++ for double
occupancy. The package includes daily breakfast, a welcome drink, a
fruit basket and ground transfers as per the programme itinerary. Extra
nights are charged at a rate of US$100.00++ per room per night (single
or double occupancy) including breakfast.
The package is valid from 1st November 2000 through 30 June 2001 (Except
24th December 2000 through 5th January 2001).
MELIÁ BENOA
With its rebranding, the Meliá Benoa All Inclusive Resort in Bali is
offering guests to the property a choice of two all-inclusive options -
the Blue and Gold options.
BLUE OPTION
The Blue All-Inclusive option includes accommodation in an oversized 50
square metre room, daily meals from a choice of Meliá Benoa's three
restaurants including breakfast, lunch and dinner, and special daily
poolside snacks, a free-flow of juices, mineral water, soft-drinks, and
local brand beer and liquor.
Guests will also be entitled to free use of the non-motorised
watersports and equipment including sailing, wind surfing, canoeing, and
snorkelling. Guests will also enjoy other sporting facilities including
free use of the gym, and squash, table tennis, billiards, archery, and
darts facilities. Guests would also enjoy nightly evening entertainment
including a Balinese cultural show, and a Broadway-style extravaganza.
GOLD OPTION
In addition to the benefits offered in the Blue option, guests who opt
for Gold can enjoy deluxe room accommodation, 24-hour room service,
imported spirits, beers and wines and free access to the in-room
minibar. Guests will also have access to a reserved beach chair, and
daily free laundry services.
The Blue option is offered at a rate of US$100.00 nett per person per
night based on twin sharing, and the Gold option is offered at a rate of
US$140.00 nett per person per night based on twin sharing. A surcharge
applies for peak season of US$30.00 nett per person per night from 22nd
December 2000 through 6th January 2001.
MELIÁ PUROSANI
Meliá Purosani is offering their three days / two nights River-Rafting
Team Building Package at a per room rate of US$146.00nett for single
occupancy, and US$180.00 nett for double occupancy. This package
includes a river rafting outing complete with the services of an
experienced instructor, rafting equipment, packed luncheons and round
trip transfers between the hotel and river. This package also includes
standard room accommodation, and daily breakfast. This package is valid
for a minimum of 4 delegates. This package is valid through December
2000.
GRAN MELIÁ JAKARTA
Sol Meliá's Asian flagship property, the Gran Meliá Jakarta will be
offering a special rate of US$108.00++ per room per night. This rate
includes deluxe room accommodation, daily breakfast for two, a welcome
fruit platter, a welcome drink and daily newspaper. This package is
valid until December 31st 2000.
