Leading
European hotel chain Sol Meliá has announced the rebranding of Meliá
Benoa in Bali, into an All Inclusive Resort. With this change, guests to
the property will be able to enjoy a choice of two options - the Blue
and Gold options.
BLUE OPTION
The Blue All-Inclusive option includes accommodation in an oversized 50
square metre room, daily meals from a choice of Meliá Benoa's three
restaurants including breakfast, lunch and dinner, and special daily
poolside snacks, a free-flow of juices, mineral water, soft-drinks, and
local brand beer and liquor. Guests will also be entitled to free use of
the non-motorised watersports and equipment including sailing, wind
surfing, canoeing, and snorkelling. Guests will also enjoy other
sporting facilities including free use of the gym, and squash, table
tennis, billiards, archery, and darts facilities. Guests would also
enjoy nightly evening entertainment including a Balinese cultural show,
and a Broadway-style extravaganza.
GOLD OPTION
In addition to the benefits offered in the Blue option, guests who opt
for Gold can enjoy deluxe room accommodation, 24-hour room service,
imported spirits, beers and wines and free access to the in-room
minibar. Guests will also have access to a reserved beach chair, and
daily free laundry services.
The Blue option is offered at a rate of US$100.00 nett per person per
night based on twin sharing, and the Gold option is offered at a rate of
US$140.00 nett per person per night based on twin sharing. A surcharge
applies for peak season of US$30.00 nett per person per night from 22nd
December 2000 through 6th January 2001.
Meliá Benoa is located on the Northern tip of Nusa Dua on the beach of
Tanjung Benoa, Bali's newest resort area fast becoming popular as a
haven for watersports enthusiasts. The hotel is located a mere 15
minutes by car from the Ngurah Rai International Airport, and 45 minutes
from Denpasar City.
The hotel's resort style accommodation includes 90 deluxe rooms, 32
junior suites and 6 grand suites. Among its facilities are the Spa at
Meliá Benoa, a free form swimming pool with swim up bar, air-conditioned
squash court, fitness centre with gymnasium, and sauna. Meliá Benoa
extensive watersports facilities include snorkelling, scuba diving,
windsurfing, parasailing, and jet skiing. The hotel also boasts of three
restaurants, including the Dwarawati restaurant featuring local and
international favourites, Amarta Italian restaurant and the Menaga
seafood restaurant, and two bars. Meliá Benoa is situated 1.5 kilometres
away from shops, and a 25 minute car ride from Kuta's shopping area.
