If you’ve
always wanted to spend the holidays in Asia, Northwest Airlines now
gives you the perfect opportunity to treat yourself to an early present
or New Year’s indulgence. Northwest today announced a major holiday fare
sale from cities throughout the United States to 12 markets in Asia with
discounts of up to 40 percent.
Markets include: Japan (Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya); China (Beijing, Shanghai,
Hong Kong); Singapore; Taiwan (Taipei, Kaohsiung); Korea (Seoul); the
Philippines (Manila); and Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur). Sale fares are
available from throughout the continental United States and Alaska.

shown are one-way based on a round-trip purchase in coach class. Fares
are valid for travel to all markets except the Philippines and China
from Nov. 1 through Dec. 9, 2000 or Jan. 11 through Feb. 10, 2001.
Travel dates for Manila are Nov. 1 through Nov. 27, 2000 or Jan. 11
through Feb. 10 2001; travel dates for China are Oct. 24 through Dec. 9,
2000 or Jan. 11 through Feb. 10, 2001.
Tickets must be purchased within three days of making reservations or
seven days before departure, whichever comes first. A Saturday night
stay is required and the maximum stay is 30 days. Tickets are
non-refundable and a $150 change fee applies.
