ASIA MILES MEMBERS CAN BID FOR A TENNIS GAME WITH BJORN BORG

Asia Miles members have the chance to win a game of tennis with tennis legends such as Bjorn Borg and Henri Leconte during the upcoming Cathay Pacific Champions Pro-Am tennis event to be held in Hong Kong later this month. Members can bid for a place in the tournament using their Asia Miles in the Asia Miles iAuction. There are a total of seven places available.

The iAuction started on 3 October and bidding will close at 11:59pm on Tuesday 10 October. The minimum bid is 5,000 Asia Miles and increases in increments of 1,000 miles. Members need to use their Asia Miles passwords to enter the bidding.

The Cathay Pacific Champions Pro-Am event will take place on Sunday 29 October at the Hong Kong Country Club. Members will pair up with the tennis professionals to play a series of 15 minutes rounds. In addition to Bjorn Borg and Henri Leconte, other legends taking part will include Mats Wilander, Mansour Bahrami, Mikael Pernfors, Jimmy Arias, Kelvin Nge and Peter McNamara.

Cathay Pacific Loyalty Programmes General Manager Ron Mathison said: "Following the success of last years' event, we are delighted to offer this special Pro-Am tournament for a second year. With our newly introduced iAuction, bidding for the Pro-Am event will be fun, convenient and competitive."
