Singapore
Airlines and Japan Airlines Cargo will be expanding their co-operation
on the cargo front.
From 19 October this year, the two carriers will jointly operate a new
B747-400 freighter service, every Thursday, between Singapore Changi
Airport and Osaka Kansai Airport.
This new service will add Singapore to Osaka as a new route to both
carriers freighter networks, and further strengthen air-links between
Singapore and Japan.
Both Singapore and Osaka are complementary gateways, with regular
electronics and perishables movements between them.
The two airlines already jointly operate three weekly freighter services
between Singapore Changi Airport and Tokyo Narita Airport. |
