HILTON BUDAPEST WESTEND IS NOW OPEN

Hilton International opened the doors of its second hotel in Budapest on 15th July 2000. The 230-room Hilton Budapest WestEnd complements the existing Budapest Hilton on Buda Hill, in the heart of the historic Castle district in the old town of 'Buda'.

The new, elegant Hilton Budapest WestEnd is located on the 'Pest' side of the city, in the modern WestEnd district and is an integral part of a new commercial, cultural and entertainment complex "WestEnd City Center". The hotel provides direct access to more than 400 shops in the high-class shopping mall, a 14-screen cinema complex and a variety of other service amenities.

The 230 rooms on four floors are spacious, light and soundproof with individually controlled air-conditioning. All rooms are equipped with PC data port, voice mail, large working desk, TV with Hungarian and International channels, minibar, coffee and tea machines, separate shower and bath tub in the bathrooms, iron and ironing board and hairdryer. In favour of higher security, the rooms are equipped with room safe and electronic door locking system. Room service is available 24 hours a day.

The hotel has an Executive Floor with CLUBROOM providing guests with international magazines and newspapers. Complimentary continental breakfast, meals and drinks are served throughout the day and a fitness centre with state-of-the art equipment overlooks the roof garden.

'Hilton Meetings' facilities provide state-of-the-art meeting and conference solutions. Ten meeting rooms enjoy natural daylight and this unique feature makes Hilton Budapest WestEnd as one of the attractive meeting venues in the city. For smaller meetings, there are eight rooms that can cater up to a maximum of 50 guests. For larger meetings a multifunctional room and separable section rooms are available and a ballroom which can accommodate up to 350 persons theatre style and 250 persons for banquets.

The Hilton Budapest WestEnd offers a range of dining options. The main restaurant "Arrabona", has a modern interior design with soft colors, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner for 150 guests. In summertime, service is extended to the terrace and the flowering roof garden.

Café Zita is the anytime meeting place with its outstanding modern design, a food concept with "crazy" sandwiches and salads, fancy coffee creations and a wide beverage selection, with a potential to become one of the "see and be seen" spots of Budapest.

Kando Bar is the ideal spot for a cool drink after a long meeting, an Aperitif or Digestive before or after dinner. Its expert Barmen will mix and serve old favourites, their own creations and a selection of outstanding cocktails from Hiltons around the world.

Budapest WestEnd has direct access to covered parking with a capacity of 1700 cars and also provides convenient access to all modes of public transportation.
