DRAGONAIR HOLIDAYS INTRODUCES WINTER PACKAGE TO JAPAN

Travel News Asia Date: 30 October 2000

A skiing option is one of the highlights of the new Dragonair Holidays Sendai brochure, which also features visits to hot springs, scenic Matsushima Bay and Kenji World Water Park.

“Skiing has become an increasingly popular option over the last few winter seasons with our customers,” said James Yeung, General Manager, Commercial. “I think it’s part of a more general rise in interest in adventure sports among travellers from Hong Kong.”

One feature of all Dragonair Holidays packages is their flexibility so, for example, the four-day, three-night package can be extended and makes skiing an easy option, covering ski hire, a lift pass and coaching.

The Sendai brochure features a choice of four flexible itineraries to the region, famed for its natural beauty and “onsen”, or hot springs.

"Sendai offers spectacular winter scenery," said James Yeung. “And there’s nothing quite like spending time on the ski slopes and following it with a soak at an open-air hot spring."

Prices start from as little as HK$5,470, and all packages are available until March 31, 2001.

The full list of packages on offer is:

Sendai (4 days/3 nights)

Sendai/Matsushima (5 days/4 nights)

Sendai/Akiu (5 days/4 nights)

Sendai/Oshuku (5 days/4 nights)

Full details can be found in the Sendai brochure, available from Dragonair Holidays (call: (852) 31933338) or travel agents.

Dragonair Holidays, a fully owned subsidiary of Dragonair, has been tailoring superior holiday packages to some of the region's most exotic and interesting destinations for more than 10 years. Over that time, the Dragonair Holidays name has become synonymous with quality, convenience and comfort.
