Continental
Airlines (NYSE: CAL and CAL.A) announced today that the newest addition
to its fleet - the Boeing 767-200ER - has debuted on service to Zurich,
Switzerland, replacing the DC10. This marks the first time that
Continental has flown the 767-200ER, which was added to its fleet this
month, on a transatlantic route.
Continental's 767-200ERs feature a 777-style interior, with spacious
seating, wider aisles and larger overhead bins. Continental's aircraft
is configured in two classes: 25 in BusinessFirst and 149 in economy.
The Newark/New York-Zurich flight operates daily, leaving Newark
International Airport at 5:55 p.m., arriving in Zurich at 7:45 a.m. the
next day. The return flight leaves Zurich Airport at 10:35 a.m. and
arrives in Newark at 1:55 p.m.

more than 2,400 departures daily to 138 domestic and 92 international
