Air Canada has
been voted 'Best Business Class to Canada' by readers of Business
Traveler International Magazine. The new category of 'Best Business
Class to Canada' in the magazine's 2000 readers' survey replaces the
'Best Airline for Travel to Canada' category, which Air Canada has won
for the past eight years. The award winners were announced at a luncheon
in New York City today.
"Again this year, we are very honoured to be recognized by our most
discerning customers," said Marc Rosenberg, Vice-President, Sales and
Product Distribution. "We take pride in offering our business customers
a leading-edge, superior product, and we thank them for having chosen
Air Canada for so many years."
The awards are based on an annual survey of more than 2,000 Business
Traveler International readers. In addition to Air Canada's 'Best
Business Class to Canada' award, Star Alliance carriers earned
recognition in a total of 11 categories.
Complete results of this year's reader survey appear in the magazine's
December/January issue.
Air Canada, together with its wholly-owned subsidiary, Canadian
Airlines, offers travellers more than 300 flights per day from 55 U.S.
destinations to Canada.
Earlier in the year, Canadian Airlines was voted 'Best North American
Airline' in the 2000 OAG (Official Airline Guide) Airline of the Year
Awards. |
