Holiday Inn Qingdao opens its doors to the public

Bass Hotels & Resorts today announced the opening of Holiday Inn Qingdao, the hotel company's 27th hotel in China and the first to open this year in Mainland China.

Located in the commercial, financial, entertainment and shopping centre of Qingdao - a city which doubles as an international convention and exhibition centre and a flourishing holiday and health resort, as well as being the home of world-famous Qingdao Beer - Holiday Inn Qingdao is just 40 minutes from the airport and 15 minutes from the railway station.

Holiday Inn Qingdao offers 388 well-appointed guestrooms, including 112 Executive Club rooms (average size of each room is 52 sq m), 67 suites and 16 serviced apartments.

The hotel has a wide selection of the finest cuisine and exciting avenues for entertainment and recreation, including Etsong Palace - Chinese Restaurant, Terrace Café - Coffee Shop, Oriental Plaza - Food Court, Murano's - Qingdao's only Italian Restaurant, Safari Pub and Lost City Night Club. Holiday Inn Qingdao also has complete meeting and banquet facilities, including a Grand Ballroom and 10 function rooms of varying sizes.

In addition, the hotel has a fully-equipped Business Centre, a Health Club (scheduled to open in October) with an indoor swimming pool and bowling alley. There is also underground parking - and 5,352 sq m of office space for rental.
