Star Alliance
partners Singapore Airlines and Air Canada announced today that they
would offer customers more convenient services between Singapore and
Toronto by codesharing on each other’s flights.
With effect from 29 October 2000, these services will be routed daily
via London Heathrow and three times weekly via Copenhagen.
Said Mr Huang Cheng Eng, Singapore Airlines’ Senior Vice President
Marketing Planning: “We are pleased to announce the introduction of our
codeshare flights with Air Canada. This co-operation will enable us to
offer our passengers more travel options and hence, greater flexibility
in making their travel plans. In addition to our daily flights to
Vancouver, our customers now also have easy access to eastern Canada
through Toronto.”
