HYATT ANNOUNCES PARTNERSHIP WITH KLM's FREQUENT FLYER PROGRAM, FLYING DUTCHMAN

Flying Dutchman members can now earn points when they stay at Hyatt hotels and resorts worldwide, as part of a new partnership with KLM/Royal Dutch Airlines.

Effective January 1, 2001, Flying Dutchman members will earn 300 Flying Dutchman points, for eligible Hyatt stays worldwide. And, to celebrate the partnership launch, Hyatt will offer double Flying Dutchman points (600 total) from January 1- March 31, 2001, at participating hotels.

“We are extremely pleased to launch a partnership with KLM/Royal Dutch Airlines and to give Hyatt guests and Flying Dutchman members added value for choosing Hyatt.” said John Wallis, senior vice president – marketing, Hyatt International Hotels.

KLM/Royal Dutch Airlines is based in Amsterdam and offers more than 500 destinations worldwide, amongst others direct flights to Vancouver, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, Minneapolis, Houston, Memphis, Atlanta and New York.

Additional Hyatt travel partners include: Aeromexico, Alaska Airlines, All Nippon Airways, American Airlines, America West Airlines, British Airways, Cathay Pacific Airways, China Airlines, Continental Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Korean Air, LanChile Airlines, Lufthansa, Midwest Express Airlines, Northwest Airlines, Qantas, Qualiflyer, South African Airways, Southwest Airlines, Singapore Airlines, Thai Airways International, TWA, United Airlines and US Airways.
