Regent
International Hotels has announced two new appointments to executive
leadership positions. Mr. Luis Acosta has been named vice president of
development and Ms. Victoria Sieger has been named vice president of
sales and marketing for the luxury hotel company. A division of
Minneapolis-based Carlson Hospitality Worldwide, Regent International
Hotels is one of the most respected companies in the luxury hotel and
resort industry known for its supreme quality and exceptional service
aimed at satisfying the needs of the most discriminating global
traveler.

International Hotels. “Regent will benefit greatly from their experience
working in the luxury segment.”
Luis Acosta Named Vice President of Development
As the new vice president of development, Mr. Acosta is responsible for
negotiating acquisitions, management contracts and licenses for new
Regent International Hotels around the globe. He will lead the selective
expansion of the Regent brand by Carlson Hospitality Worldwide.
Mr. Acosta brings more than 20 years of experience in the luxury hotel
and resort segments, including positions of vice president-development
at Ritz-Carlton, and Hilton Hotels Corporation. Mr. Acosta’s expertise
includes a variety of developments that are rich with amenities,
including world-class spas, ski-in/ski-out resorts, golf resorts,
vacation ownership units and convention center hotels.
Mr. Acosta has a degree in hotel administration from Cornell University
and is a certified hotel administrator (CHA).
Victoria Sieger Named Vice President of Sales and Marketing
Victoria Sieger, the new vice president of sales and marketing for
Regent International Hotels, will oversee the global sales and marketing
strategies for the Regent brand of luxury hotels and resorts. In her
position, she is also responsible for leading and implementing
successful sales and marketing systems that positively impact Regent’s
bottom-line profitability.
Ms. Sieger has more than 20 years of sales and marketing experience
within the hospitality industry, having played a vital role in several
organizations where she has demonstrated her expertise and excellence in
creating successful strategic sales and marketing programs.
Previously, as vice president of sales for the Americas for Mandarin
Oriental Hotel Group, she directed sales and marketing activities for 13
luxury hotels that comprised the Asia-based five-star brand. Ms. Sieger
spent an earlier tour with Regent as the director of sales for the
United States and Canada. She also has international airline, foreign
government tourist office and travel agency management experience.
