NWA.Com is Bookmarked in AT&T’s Travel Channel

Northwest Airlines and AT&T Wireless announced today the availability of real-time access to Northwest Airlines’ flight and WorldPerks member information via the AT&T Digital PocketNetSMservice. The partnership between Northwest Airlines and AT&T Wireless initially provides customers with mobile access to flight schedules and gate information, flight status, Northwest reservations and World Perks account information directly on the minibrowser of AT&T Wireless Internet-ready phones. Northwest Airlines is the first airline to be displayed on AT&T DigitalSM PocketNet Service.

“Customers who regularly use NWA.Com for travel planning and other services increasingly demand access from their mobile phones,” said Al Lenza, Northwest vice president distribution planning. “We are excited about offering NWA.Com features to AT&T Wireless customers from the travel channel on their phone.”

“The more familiar people are becoming with accessing the Internet via their wireless phones, the more they crave personalized information” said R. Larry Atwell, Director, Business Development, Product Development & Strategy for AT&T Wireless. “We’re pleased to have a relationship with Northwest Airlines in connecting people to the places and information that are valuable to them.”

Northwest Airlines flight information and WorldPerks Account information is immediately accessible within the travel menu on the AT&T Wireless PocketNet service. Northwest is the first airline to be displayed on both AT&T DigitalSM PocketNet Service and on Sprint PCS phones.
