Queen Sirikit Medical Center Fund Raising Gala in Aid of Rama Thibodi Hospital Patients

At the Shangri-La Hotel Ballroom, a press conference, led by Thanpuying Viraya Javakul, Chairperson of the organizing committee of the 4th Queen Sirikit Medical Center Gala, was held to announce the objectives of the gala event, with THAI assisting in publicity efforts.

Thanpuying Viraya Javakul, on behalf of the Rama Thibodi Foundation, revealed that Her Majesty Queen Sirikit will graciously presided over the Gala evening on August 10, 2000, at the Ballroom, Shangri-La Hotel, Bangkok. The event is to commemorate the birthday of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, with proceeds being donated to Rama Thibodi Hospital patients who are unable to meet the costs of their hospitalization and medical treatment.

The evening will include a performance by famous French opera singer and the “Saeng Song Thai Show” presented by Grammy Entertainment. Catheleeya MacIntosh and Professor Doctor Prakit Wateesathokkij will jointly host the evening, welcoming and entertaining all guests. Maleewan Jeremy, Mai Charoenpura, Nanthida Kaewbuasai, Nicole Terio, and Chakrapun Arbkornburi will be among the Thai celebrities attending the gala event, which will provide help and assistance for those in less fortunate circumstances and in need of medical care.
