Andreas Vollenweider to give New Year Concert in Bali

Swiss Grammy Award winning harpist and composer, Andreas Vollenweider is to give a Charity Concert in Bali on 30th December, 2000 at the Bali Cliff Resort Hotel.

The Concert entitled "An Evening with Andreas Vollenweider & Friends" is being organised as a part of the Bali Nirmala Year-End Celebration, the net proceeds going to a local Bali charity for the education of needy children in Bali.

The evening will consist of a gourmet sit-down dinner served at 7.30 p.m. followed by the concert. There will be a wide range of attractive door prizes to be won.

Andreas Vollenweider, whose instantly recognisable sound has appealed to music lovers over the past 20 years has sold over 8 million albums and his concerts continue to be sell-outs world over, is in Bali to take part in the Bali Nirmala Celebration, 28th December, 2000 to 1st January, 2001, also held at the Bali Cliff Resort Hotel.

The Bali Nirmala Celebration is the first of a series of annual events in Bali designed to greet the New Year in a different way, bringing together numerous musicians, artists and inspirational speakers from Indonesia and from all over the world.
