Today (22
November 2000), Mr. Bhisit Kuslasayanon, President, Thai Airways
International Public Company Limited, chaired a meeting to discuss the
formation of "Thai Travel Industry Alliance". The meeting was held
between THAI and executives from concerned travel organizations and
institutes in Thailand to decide on the future cooperation to form this
tourism alliance.
Attending the meeting were Mr. Kusa Panyarachun, Advisor of Thailand
Tourism Society, Mrs. Yaowaluck Pangsapa, Advisor of Thailand Tourism
Society, Mrs. Suchada Yuwaboon, Vice President of Thailand Tourism
Society, Mr. Saneh Jotikasthira, President of Association of Thai Travel
Agents (ATTA), Mr. Anan Sirisant, Vice President of Association of Thai
Travel Agents, Mr. Somchai Bencharongkul, President of Angel Airlines,
Capt. Jothin Pamon-Montri, President of PB Air, Mr. Supareuk Surangkurn,
Secretary of Association of Thai Travel Agents, Mr. Wattana
Paradorachai, Honorary Advisor of Thai Hotel Association (THA).
The main objective of this project is to further promote travel, tourism
and culture of Thailand, offering innovative travel programs to foreign
visitors to explore this part of Asia.
The "Thai Travel Industry Alliance" committee has been established with
