CROWNE PLAZA EXPANDS TO INDIA WITH OPENING OF CROWNE PLAZA SURYA NEW DELHI

Bass Hotels & Resorts today announced expansion of the Crowne Plaza brand to India with the opening of the 195-room Crowne Plaza Surya New Delhi.

The opening of Crowne Plaza Surya New Delhi - the only Crowne Plaza in India, will bring Bass Hotels & Resorts' distribution in India to a total of 14 hotels with over 2,000 guest rooms.

Situated in South Delhi's posh residential area of New Friends Colony, Crowne Plaza Surya is also conveniently close to Delhi's prime commercial centres like Nehru Place, Okhla Industrial Area. The hotel is very well located between historical attractions like the Bahai Lotus Temple and Qutub Minar on the one side and the ancient Nizamuddin Mosque, The Old Fort, India Gate and Trade Fair Ground on the other. The hotel is also close to the Nizamuddin Railway station. Indira Gandhi International Airport is 26 kilometres away.

Crown Plaza Surya features three restaurants - Le Cafe - a 24-hour Coffee Shop, Sampan - a Chinese Restaurant, an Indian Restaurant - Sikandra, and an open air Bar lounge - The Atrium Bar, with a live band performing.
