Airways International Public Company Limiteds Crew Center, Mr. Thamnoon
Wanglee, THAIs President, presided over the opening ceremony of the
canteen at the Crew Center. The 800 square-meter canteen was built to
cater for THAIs cabin crew, staff and visitors at the Crew Center.
Construction of the canteen took 4 months, with the total budget of
13.075 million baht, 5.4 million baht of which was for architectural and
systematic work. The interior work cost 5 million baht, with a further
2.675 million baht for kitchen equipment and utilities.
The design concept of the canteen at the Crew Center is a combination of
elements suitable for the airline business; i.e. modern, attractive and
functional. The canteen is divided into a dining area and the food
preparation area. The dining area include:
- The Main Dining room : with an area of 472 square meters and capacity
for 250 people, with service from 05.30 23.00 hrs. for breakfast,
lunch, and dinner.
- The Small Dining room : with an area of 112 square meters and capacity
for 50 people offers a vending machine service from 23:30 06:00 hrs.
Thai Airways International has four canteens located at THAIs Head
Office, THAIs Technical Department, THAIs Cargo Department, and THAIs
Customer Services Department. The new canteen at the Crew Center is the
fifth location. |
