SUMMIT HOTELS & RESORTS HOSTS INAUGURAL TRAVEL BOOKERS’ GOLF DAY IN SYDNEY

Summit Hotels & Resorts recently hosted its inaugural Golf Day in Sydney, Australia. More than 30 travel agents, MICE planners and corporate clients participated in the friendly tournament, together with key personnel from Summit Hotels & Resorts’ two Sydney properties - The Grace Hotel Sydney and Rushcutters Harbourside Sydney.

The event, held at Camden Lakeside Country Club on Wednesday, 21 June 2000, provided an informal setting for travel bookers to find out more about state-of-the-art conference facilities and incentive activities offered by Summit Hotels & Resorts’ international collection of luxury, independently -owned hotels. These encompass city, golf, spa, safari, beach and ski locations in Australia, Asia, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and the Americas.

Sue Withers, Summit Hotels & Resorts Vice President, Asia Pacific said: “The Summit Golf Day will become a tradition. It is a great way for travel bookers to find out the latest news about Summit Hotels & Resorts’ exceptional range of luxury conference and incentive facilities, not just in Sydney, but worldwide.”

A range of prizes were awarded at the end of the Summit Golf Day following a celebratory buffet barbecue lunch. Highlights included generous overnight stays and dinners at The Grace Hotel and Rushcutters Harbourside Sydney. Guests also took home gifts of a golf bag, The Grace Hotel Golf Balls and a Summit Hotels & Resorts baseball cap.
