Virgin
Atlantic is delighted to announce that it has appointed the French
retailer Aeroboutique Inflight Retail (AIR) as its new duty free
supplier.
Lysette Gauna, Inflight Entertainment Manager for Virgin Atlantic said:
“We are very excited about this new partnership and can’t wait to start
working on the new range. This contract is unique by being tailor made
for Virgin Atlantic to reflect our strengths in marketing and brand
values and AIR’s strengths in logistics, technology and programme
management.”
Pierre Freyssinet, managing director of Aeroboutique Inflight Retail
(AIR) commented:
“We are delighted to be operating Virgin’s Retail Therapy programme.
This is a real challenge and our commitment to the airline is to ensure
that we use AIR’s logistical and retail know-how to maintain and then
increase Virgin’s marketing edge. We consider it a very special and
inspiring account”.
Aeroboutique, which has created a subsidiary in the UK to operate the
programme which is due to start on 1 November, also has contracts with
Air France and three smaller French airlines.
