Swissair has
launched a new local website, www.swissair.com.hk, developed
specifically for people living in Hong Kong.
The website, in English and Chinese, is designed to offer additional
local information in four area: Swissair Holidays, Business Travel
Highlights; Discover Europe; and Swissair Mall.
By linking to the airline’s main Swissair site, www.swissair.com via the
local site hyperlink, users can book flights via the Internet, check
flight times and arrange travel using a paperless ticket to over 30
European destinations. The site also offers advice on how to check-in
electronically and go straight to the desk using an “e-pass” and
“e-track” in Zurich.
Other information includes comprehensive details on the airline’s fleet,
timetables and routes along with new and existing products and services
offered by Swissair. It also has speedy hyperlinks to the Switzerland
Tourism site, as well as to that of the parent company, SAirGroup.
Swissair has been serving Hong Kong since 1957 and, together with
Sabena, currently flies to 170 destinations worldwide. From November
4th, the airline increased its schedule to six weekly Swissair flights
and four code-share flights operated by Cathay Pacific, making a total
of ten overnight flights per week on the Zurich-Hong Kong route.
