The 2000 Premier Travel Awards for Excellence Adds Two New Categories

Travel News Asia Date: 20 June 2000

The 2000 Premier Awards for Excellence now in its second year, has today announced that it will be adding 'airlines' and 'favourite holiday destinations' to the voting categories. Established in 1999 by ASIA Travel Tips.com the online Premier Awards, allows viewers to vote for their three favourite hotels in different Asian countries, their favourite bars, restaurants, and now for their three preferred airlines and three preferred holiday destinations.

The Premier Awards, are open for voting during an entire year and the winners will be announced, 8 December, 2000.

Steven Howard, Publisher of TravelNewsAsia.com commented "After only six months we have already received a lot of votes for this years Premier Awards for Excellence, and it is interesting to see which hotels are receiving the most. With viewers now being able to vote for their favourite airlines and also holiday destinations, our awards not only become a lot more comprehensive, but also a lot more interesting as this really is the voice of the people. Our biggest difficulty however will be presenting the restaurant awards, as one of the present leaders, we have never heard of !"

The awards are in no way advertising driven as TravelNewsAsia.com does not yet allow advertising on its site, plus the website offers no guidance as to who you can and can't vote for, leaving the choice entirely up to you, the viewer. This makes the Awards one of the most comprehensive and open in the world.

Votes can only be made online at the TravelNewsAsia.com website @ https://www.asiatraveltips.com/2000PremierAwards.htm
