One of
emirate’s leading resorts, Le Meridien Jumeira Beach, has become a part
of Dubai’s history today as it is officially renamed and upgraded to a
superior branding – Le Royal Meridien Beach Resort & Spa.
The move to flagship status follows the opening of a new 154-room Tower
extension last month, plus launch of a deluxe health club and spa and
three new restaurants.
Le Royal Meridien Beach Resort & Spa now has 500 rooms and suites in the
main hotel, executive Club and new Tower, plus 12 food and beverage
outlets and seven meeting rooms of varying sizes.
"The opening of the new rooms has been very timely," said sales and
marketing director, Siggi von Brandt.
"We have been running 100 per cent full already this month with a
healthy mix of tourists and business guests," he said. "This reflects
the boom in Dubai as both a commercial and exhibition centre as well as
an increasingly popular leisure destination.
"After a very busy summer, we now expect to remain at peak occupancy for
much of the next six months."
With more than 3,000 hotel rooms now available on the Dubai beachfront,
Le Meridien Hotels & Resorts operates around 20 per cent of these,
including Le Meridien Mina Seyahi. |
