Summertime and
the living is easy. At least, it will be for Northwest Airlines
customers who take advantage of the airline’s new summer fare sale that
offers great deals for individuals and families to select destinations
throughout the U.S. and Canada, and discounted fares to Asia.
Between now and June 30, 2000, travelers can catch big savings on adult
fares and take advantage of great child fares for as low $49 each way
based on roundtrip purchases for travel in North America. Travel can
begin as early as June 27 and must be completed by September 6, 2000. A
30-day maximum stay applies to all destinations.
"Hire the kid next door to water the lawn and take in the mail, put your
office clothes in mothballs for the duration," said Tom Bach, Northwest
vice president – domestic revenue management. "Air fares like these are
reason enough to take the whole summer off."
