The
Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Dubai, has launched a new promotion to attract
visitors during the Summer months from June to mid-September. The
luxurious 138 room five star hotel, is built in the form of a
Mediterranean villa, and has won many awards since its opening in
September 1998, including a 1999 Premier Award for Excellence from ASIA
Travel Tips.com and was voted by readers of Tatler magazine as "One of
the World's Best".
The first Ritz-Carlton hotel opened in Boston in 1927, when the room
rate for a one-night stay was approximately US$15. This summer, from
June until 15th September, The Ritz-Carlton, Dubai is offering the same
unbelievable rate for a deluxe room for two. Guests, who stay for one
night at the hotel's regular rate of Dhs 895 plus tax and service, may
enjoy their second night for only US$ 15 (approximately Dhs 55). The
rate is based on a two-night stay or multiples thereof and is available
any night of the week subject to availability.
"The Ritz-Carlton, Dubai has been running at full occupancy for the past
six months," said Stephen Banks, Regional Director of Sales and
Marketing for the Middle East "with the majority of our guests coming
from the UK and Germany. As this market segment reduces in the summer,
it provides us with a great opportunity to encourage other markets to
come to Dubai and we are able to offer very attractive rates during this
period. The US$ 15 rate has been created to celebrate the many
milestones The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company has enjoyed since the first
hotel opened more than seventy years ago." he added.
