Air Canada
will inaugurate today three times weekly non-stop service between
Calgary and Honolulu when flight AC3131 leaves Calgary International
Airport at 7:15 p.m. en route to Hawaii. The new winter service will be
offered until March 31, 2001.
"This winter, we are pleased to offer our customers a new non-stop
service from Calgary to one of Air Canada's most popular sun
destinations," said Danielle Poudrette, Vice President, Marketing. "With
the new non-stop flight, customers also enjoy excellent connections in
Honolulu to Air Canada's Sydney service and to Auckland, in conjunction
with our Star Alliance partner Air New Zealand."
To promote the new service, Air Canada is offering double Aeroplan miles
or Canadian Plus points when travelling round trip for the first time on
the new route.
The Aeroplan offer is valid until February 28, 2001 while the Canadian
Plus offer is valid for travel until December 31, 2000.
Flights on the new route are operated with wide body 205-seat Boeing
767-300 aircraft featuring the airline's acclaimed Executive and
Hospitality service. Air Canada flight AC3131 leaves Calgary at 7:15
p.m. and arrives in Honolulu at 11:15 p.m. From Honolulu, AC3132 leaves
at 1:15 a.m. and arrives in Calgary at 10:35 a.m.
With the introduction of this new route, Air Canada and Canadian
Airlines offer travellers more than 300 flights per day to 55 U.S.
destinations. |
