The
Shangri-La Hotel, Singapore has appointed Mr. Adrian Rudin as its new Hotel
Manager. Prior to moving to Singapore, Adrian was Resident Manager at
the Island Shangri-La, Hong Kong since 2002.
Adrian, a Swiss-born hotelier, started his hospitality career in Switzerland since
1983 as a chef in Kulm Hotel, Arosa. In 1991, he moved to Hong Kong, joining The
Peninsula as Executive Sous Chef, and subsequently in 1994, ventured on to
have his first 'out of kitchen' experience in the Food & Beverage department of the
hotel. Adrian excelled further in this capacity as he went on to join the Mandarin
Oriental, Bangkok as Director of Food & Beverage. Adrian's journey with
Shangri-La Hotels & Resorts began in 1999, when he assumed the position as
Executive Assistant Manager - Food and Beverage of Island Shangri-La, Hong
Kong.
Adrian's new role as
the Hotel Manager of the Shangri-La Hotel, Singapore is to manage the overall operations of the Hotel. "I am very excited to join the Shangri-La
Singapore family, and look forward to contributing to the success of one of the
region's finest hotels." In his new capacity, he will work closely
with Cetin Sekercioglu, Area Manager and General Manager of Shangri-La Hotel,
Singapore. |
