Cove, has appointed Jeremy Yap as General Manager.

The Mango Lagoon Resort &
Wellness Spa, opened in November 2004 and is set on 2.5 acres of lush garden and tropical
landscape, and offers guests 150 metres of pool facilities.

Jeremy Yap started his hospitality career with Hilton International Australia in 1976 and worked his way up from a
waiter to managerial positions within the Hilton chain of hotels in Australia. He was also involved in pre-opening
hotels in Sydney and Adelaide.
After nearly ten years with Hilton International Australia, Jeremy left in 1986 to join the pre-opening team of
the Adelaide Convention Centre as its inaugural Director of Sales & Marketing. This position he held for around 8
years before he was recruited to open the Cairns Convention Centre in Tropical North
Queensland, Australia.
After having opened the Cairns Convention Centre successfully, Jeremy was again recruited to open a 550
room international hotel and a 6,000 square metres convention centre in Jakarta. He commenced as Conference
Centre Manager & Executive Assistant Manager of the Radisson Anggana Plaza Hotel & Convention Centre in
April 1997. Jeremy has also opened and worked in hotels and resorts in Bali, Indonesia; Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
and Pattaya, Thailand.
