Le Méridien Phuket Beach Resort celebrates Bastille Day

Le Méridien Phuket Beach Resort is gearing up its celebrations for France's national day, Bastille Day, which will be commemorated worldwide on Wednesday, 14 July. Bastille Day marks the beginning of the French republic and symbolizes "Liberty, Equality and Fraternity" for all French citizens.

In honor of this year's celebrations, Le Méridien Phuket Beach Resort's Executive Chef, Michel Camy, and his culinary team, will feature a traditional French Buffet at the Resort's popular Café Fleuri Restaurant. The special evening of dining will be beautifully accented with the sounds of French music and traditional décor.

The celebratory buffet costs THB 750++ for each guest, which includes a glass of wine and the following:

· Roast sirloin with "Béarnaise" 
· Roast chicken "Grand Mere" with sautéed mushrooms and oven-baked potatoes
· Duck "Rillettes", Select salamis
· Sole fillet" Dugléré" served on steamed spinach
· Sautéed rock lobster with baby cloves of garlic

Le Méridien Phuket Beach Resort is offering a price break package, specially designed for Thai nationals and Thailand residents, from now until October 31, 2004. The breakaway package starts at Baht 2,500 per room per night for a superior garden view room and is available for Thai nationals and Thai residents only. Rate is subject to 10 percent service charge and applicable government taxes. The package is subject to availability.
